Position Overview:
The Operations Manager for Loan Against Property (LAP) will oversee the end-to-end operational workflow, ensuring efficient processing, compliance, and delivery of loans. This role requires expertise in managing loan documentation, team coordination, and regulatory adherence while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and streamline the loan processing cycle, from application to disbursement, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Oversee loan document verification, credit checks, property valuation, and legal clearance processes.
- Develop and implement operational policies to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with sales, credit, and legal teams to resolve process bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies for all operational activities.
- Track and report key operational metrics, ensuring continuous process improvement.
- Train and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Handle escalations and provide resolutions for customer and stakeholder concerns.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in LAP or mortgage loans.
- Strong knowledge of loan processes, documentation, and regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in loan management software and tools.
