Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements,
    and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory
    requirements.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitor variances, and provide
    insights to support strategic decision-making.
  3. Tax Compliance: Manage tax planning and compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax
    returns, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
  4. Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring liquidity, optimizing working
    capital, and managing banking relationships.
  5. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and
    ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting the NBFC sector and ensure
    compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of
    collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  8. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide
    recommendations for enhancing financial performance.
  9. Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare audit schedules, and address audit
    findings and recommendations in a timely manner.
  10. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial results, forecasts, and insights to senior management,
    board of directors, and other stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in financial management, preferably within the NBFC sector or financial
    services industry.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory
    requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
    across departments.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
