Responsibilities and Duties
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements,
and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory
requirements. - Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitor variances, and provide
insights to support strategic decision-making. - Tax Compliance: Manage tax planning and compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax
returns, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations. - Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring liquidity, optimizing working
capital, and managing banking relationships. - Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and
ensure the accuracy of financial records. - Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting the NBFC sector and ensure
compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of
collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide
recommendations for enhancing financial performance. - Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare audit schedules, and address audit
findings and recommendations in a timely manner. - Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial results, forecasts, and insights to senior management,
board of directors, and other stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in financial management, preferably within the NBFC sector or financial
services industry. - Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory
requirements. - Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
across departments. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
