Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Calling: Place outbound calls to existing customers to promote cross-selling of financial products and services, including insurance, loans, and investment products.
- Introduce and explain the features, benefits, and value proposition of cross-sell offerings to customers in a
clear and persuasive manner.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessment and customer profiling during calls to understand customer requirements, preferences, and financial goals.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities based on customer needs and preferences, matching products and
services to customer profiles.
- Product Promotion: Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and promotional offers to customers, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages.
- Overcome objections and address customer concerns to facilitate cross-selling and conversion of leads into
sales.
- Sales Conversion: Use persuasive selling techniques and sales scripts to convert leads into sales, achieving individual and team sales targets for cross-selling.
- Close sales deals during calls, completing necessary documentation and follow-up activities to ensure
successful transactions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication, follow-up calls, and personalized service.
- Provide post-sales support and assistance to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring
customer satisfaction. - Cross-Sell Campaigns: Participate in cross-selling campaigns and promotional activities organized by the sales and marketing
teams to generate leads and drive sales. - Collaborate with marketing teams to execute targeted cross-sell campaigns and initiatives to maximize sales
opportunities. - Compliance Adherence :Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards in cross-selling
activities, including adherence to fair lending practices and consumer protection laws. - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and documentation in compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
- Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales performance, including call metrics, conversion rates, and revenue generated
from cross-selling activities. - Provide regular updates and insights on sales trends, customer feedback, and market dynamics to sales management and stakeholders.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in sales or telemarketing roles, preferably in the financial services industry or NBFC sector.
- Proven track record of success in outbound sales, cross-selling, or tele sales, with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers, build rapport, and influence purchasing decisions over the phone.
- Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close sales deals effectively.

- Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools preferred.
